Hello from South Florida!

Subscriber First Name, hello from South Florida!

We had such a joyful time in California this fall as we joyfully welcomed Judah into our family. It was also a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with so many of you, and we’re grateful for the chance to catch up!

Now, we’ve made the journey across the country with three kids and are settling into my parent’s home in South Florida, who have graciously accepted the chaos of three grandkids under five in their space! [Huge shout out as well to Jack’s parents who did the same for us for us in California!]

A quick selfie in a corn maze at the pumpkin patch in California. It made us feel like we were back in Kenya - everyone grows maize (corn) there, and we had a field of it in our backyard!

We had so much fun celebrating Halloween in the States and with cousins!

In the Sunshine State

It’s always an adjustment settling into new spaces and new routines with little ones, but we are grateful for the time we have here during this special season of the year.

Judah is growing well and is such an easy going and sweet little guy. He spends most of his day getting passed around between us, napping and eating on the go, and delighting us with his sweet smiles and cooing!

Micah and Sage spend most of their free time rotating between bikes, splash pads, and parks.

I (Regan) have been doing lots of online shopping (apologies and shout out to our poor Amazon delivery guy) as we buy wardrobes and household essentials for the next year in Kenya. I’m thankful to take advantage of all the sales this time of year!

Jack and I mostly try to keep our heads on straight with three kids, ha! We are enjoying extra time together on dates and fun activities with the kids. And in our few moments of free time and while the kids’ nap, we stay plenty busy working on projects remotely at the hospital.

Our happy boy is chunking up day by day!

Sage is styling in her shades! 😎 We have virtually no flat pavement to ride bikes on in Kapsowar, so we’ve been spending lots of time enjoying them here!

I went to a coffee shop to write this email and I came home to find Jack had taught Micah to ride a bike without training wheels! 🤯

On my list of things to do while in the States was to see a movie! No joke, I don’t think we’ve been to one in at least 5 years…

We had so much fun spending the evening with many of you at Wellspring Church last month as we shared dinner and stories of our work in Kenya. We’d love to do the same for anyone interested in South Florida!
